This incredible and effective ministry aims to impact all areas of an inmate’s life, so they may come to know the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. One of the many practical ways God Behind Bars comes alongside inmates is by providing them with a “Fresh Start Kit” that has items they may need in order to launch successfully into their new beginning as they exit prison. It may seem simple, but one of the biggest hurdles an inmate has to overcome is the first 24-72 hours upon being released from prison.
